Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including the public TTS endpoint and internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking, aligned with business needs and scalability goals
Own the full backend API landscape, driving improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability
Collaborate on B2B initiatives to tailor integrations and solutions for enterprise clients
Work with cross functional teams to ensure backend architecture supports the product strategy and user experience

Build and maintain scalable APIs, covering both the public Text to Speech service and internal modules for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and usage analytics
Guide the entire backend API stack toward higher performance and easier maintenance
Support enterprise engagements with customized integrations and enterprise-grade solutions
Coordinate with product, design, and other teams to ensure backend decisions align with the product roadmap and user experience

Hands-on backend development experience using TS/Node (required)
Direct experience with GCP and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
Ability to ideate and implement with a focus on urgency and impact
Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
Preferred: Proficiency deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes
