Build and improve Linux system-level software in C/C++ for JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Sector, Employee Platforms team.

Design, implement, and maintain Linux system software in C/C++, emphasizing performance, stability, and recoverability in a critical runtime environment
Diagnose and resolve complex cross-stack issues using advanced debugging and profiling, with root-cause analysis, regression prevention, and measurable performance gains
Support WebKit-based GUI capabilities as needed, focusing on responsive rendering, robust event handling, and clean integration with system services
Integrate and troubleshoot device connectivity for common peripherals and I/O interfaces, translating device behaviors into reliable software and operational diagnostics
Apply Agile SDLC practices: iterative delivery, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration aligned to team standards
Maintain strong tooling and automation habits to improve code quality and delivery speed while keeping solutions maintainable, testable, and production-ready
Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, and adjacent platform teams to align requirements, surface risks early, and deliver predictable outcomes
Use knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle toolchains, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation

2+ years applied experience with formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
Hands-on practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Working knowledge of C/C++ in a Linux environment
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools (for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation) and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations
Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
