Software Engineer Co-op

CODONICS INC is seeking a Software Engineer Co-op to join the Software Engineering department in Middleburg Heights, OH. This non-exempt co-op position supports product development and everyday software department activities while introducing students to medical industry design control practices.

As a co-op student, you will contribute across the software lifecycle, from building and verifying features to improving test procedures and creating documentation. The role also includes cross-functional collaboration to clarify product requirements and help ensure projects move forward smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Participate in product development, including software design, implementation, and testing.
• Collaborate with product managers and customers to understand product requirements.
• Perform, revise, and improve product test procedures.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to testing, design, and development activities.
• Learn and follow medical industry design control practices.
• Support daily operations within the Software Department across both projects and technology.
• Participate in medical industry trade shows.
• Complete any and other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Enrollment as a Computer Science or Computer Engineering student.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:30 (flexible)
