Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and leads software development activities.
- Designs, builds, documents, tests, and debugs software that provides logical and mathematical solutions to business or mission questions using data processing equipment.
- Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools across the software development life cycle.
- Leverages knowledge of hardware and software, domain context, data processing techniques, and user input to develop software for business and mission applications.
- Troubleshoots and fixes code, creates operating instructions, documents development work, and analyzes system capabilities to address questions about intent, outputs, inputs, and controls.
- Ensures software standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency with Python
- Familiarity with C/C++
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience level: 4 years of college or more

Security and Eligibility
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen. Clearance level: Secret.
Location and Work Setting
Location: Huntsville, Alabama. This is an onsite, full-time role at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. This position follows a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
