Software Engineer
Job Description
Software Engineer position in Dallas, onsite within the Analog Power Products organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and debug embedded firmware for TI microcontrollers and processors used in analog power product ecosystems
- Create Software Development Kits (SDKs), drivers, and sample applications for TI analog and mixed-signal devices
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define software interfaces and validate embedded systems
- Author and execute test plans to verify software across multiple hardware platforms
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and participate in design reviews
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including API references, user guides, and design notes
- Engage in code reviews and apply best practices to enhance software quality and maintainability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 1 year of embedded software development experience
- Proficiency in C and C++
