Research and Development Solutions, Inc. offers a focused on-site software engineering role in Middletown, RI, supporting critical electronic warfare software. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software lead to define development needs and library updates
- Handle software configuration, debugging, and database updates
- Work alongside fellow engineers to advance technology and uphold best practices
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Provide constructive feedback to peers to improve the development process
- Deliver engineering level evaluations of proposed tasks to assist with cost estimates
Requirements
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
- At least 3 years of experience in C++
- At least 3 years of experience with MFC
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Current or eligible for a Secret level Security Clearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate effectively with teammates

- Knowledge of radar or RF technologies, RF propagation theories, and basic antenna theory
- VHDL or Verilog programming for FPGA systems
