Senior Software Engineer (SAS)

Senior Software Packaging Engineer focused on Windows desktop solutions on a customer-site program in Springfield, VA requiring TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and define the system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and client-based applications.
• Support the integration of Windows desktop environments with a range of enterprise services.
• Evaluate desktop software and hardware technologies and identify the most efficient way to leverage them within the customer’s network.
• Administer, operate, manage, and maintain components for Windows desktop deployments, including virtual and thick client environments.
• Review completed system additions and enhancements and provide recommendations to management and clients.
• Plan and direct upgrades of Windows desktop operating systems and supporting infrastructure and related components.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
• MECM / MCM packaging experience with strong knowledge of OSD, MDT, and Intune
• Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop design engineering and deployment options
• Experience with Microsoft deployment tools including MDT and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Experience engineering and deploying client software installation packages for Microsoft Windows desktops (physical and virtual)
• Experience with Application Virtualization including Citrix XenApp, Citrix App Layering, Microsoft APPV, and MSIX App Attach
• Experience maintaining Windows desktop systems for mobile users on laptop hardware
• Experience with antivirus and malware product integration within Windows desktop configurations
• Rapid software fix deployment for desktops and servers
