Senior Software Engineer – Oracle PL/SQL

Zip Staff Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep, current Oracle PL/SQL experience to build and support production-ready database features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and related `data pipelines`
• Deliver features end-to-end: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Write clean, performant, testable, and maintainable PL/SQL code
• Tune queries and database logic for performance and scalability
• Perform unit and integration testing and participate in code reviews
• Work within Jenkins-based CI/CD workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and help raise the technical bar on the team

Requirements

• Strong, current, hands-on Oracle PL/SQL expertise (core focus of the role)
• Ability to be fully productive on day one with advanced PL/SQL development and debugging
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant PL/SQL development
• Proven experience with query development, performance tuning, and stored procedures and packages
• Experience with CI tooling; Jenkins strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, and version control
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication

Location: Blue Bell, PA (onsite / in person)

Compensation: USD 56 - 59 per hourly
