Senior Software Engineer (Level III) - Top Secret clearance

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, Colorado, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Level III) to help build and advance payload analysis tools for RF payloads within Global Security programs. The role centers on delivering high-quality software for mission-critical payloads and requires a Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility for ongoing, long-term program work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Global Security program efforts by developing payload analysis tools for RF payloads across multiple lifecycle stages.
• Translate system requirements into testable verification to assess mission performance.
• Take the lead in diagnosing and resolving anomalies to maintain tool and mission reliability.
• Collaborate closely with RF engineers, Box and Sub-systems CPEs, team leaders, and subject matter experts to drive program success.
• Coordinate with customers and program leadership to meet payload product milestones.
• Apply deep subject-matter expertise in payload analysis tools and mission execution to guide project work.

Requirements

• Experience developing software with Python, C#, and/or C++.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience on Linux and Windows platforms.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to meet program/customer requirements.
• Selected candidates must hold an active Top Secret clearance prior to start.
• For long-term program work, candidates must obtain and maintain TS/SCI consideration/eligibility.
