Job Description
The Senior SharePoint and Power Platform Developer will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise solutions for a federal government client. This role concentrates on the Microsoft 365 Power Platform stack (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) with SharePoint Online and Dataverse integrations, delivering BI dashboards and automated workflows. The position is based onsite in Arlington, VA, with occasional collaboration in National Harbor, MD.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise scale applications using the M365 Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with integrations to SharePoint Online and Dataverse
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT leadership to capture requirements and translate them into practical solutions
- Analyze business processes to design portal workflows and data usage patterns
- Test, debug, deploy, and maintain software solutions throughout the lifecycle
- Create business intelligence tooling, dashboards, and automated workflows to streamline repetitive business tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Online
- Manage site content and capabilities, providing daily maintenance of portals
- Implement SharePoint based workflows and create BI dashboards
- Document solutions with diagrams, flowcharts, code comments, and clear documentation
- Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulations to illustrate concepts
- Maintain test software and demos used for training purposes
- Participate in product design reviews, contributing practical ideas in a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- DHS EOD Eligible, with Active EOD preferred
- MA/MS or equivalent and 10 years of applicable experience, including a minimum of 5 years configuring SharePoint infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, to build sophisticated dashboards
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online administration
- Experience delivering web-based applications through analysis, design, development, and deployment
- Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with SharePoint application services framework, including implementation, configuration, and usage of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services

Pay range
Final compensation is determined by multiple factors, including geographic location, contract wage categories, prior experience, and credentials. The proposed salary range for this position is $103,800 - $218,100 per year.
