Senior Lead Machine Learning Engineer (Intelligent Foundations and Experiences)

You will lead cross functional teams to productionize ML applications and design AI powered products along with scalable ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead dedicated pods of software, data, and ML engineers to build AI and ML capabilities for Credit and Financial Risk Management products, mentoring the team on core technologies.
• Design, develop, and deliver AI driven products and components that address real business needs, applying model experimentation, LLM inference, similarity search, and agentic AI within a collaborative Product and Data Science environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and designers to scale AI powered products that improve associate performance and deliver strong customer value.
• Guide ML infrastructure decisions by applying knowledge of modeling techniques, including model choice, data and feature selection, training, hyperparameter tuning, dimensionality, bias and variance, and validation.
• Tackle complex problems by writing and testing application code, developing and validating ML models, and automating tests and deployment processes.
• Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
• Leverage or build cloud based architectures and platforms to deliver optimized ML models at scale.
• Construct efficient data pipelines to feed ML models.
• Apply continuous integration and continuous deployment practices with test automation and monitoring to ensure reliable deployments of ML models and application code.
• Ensure code quality, governance of models from a risk perspective, and adherence to Responsible and Explainable AI practices.
• Utilize a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, coding with Python, Scala, or Java.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 8 years designing and building data intensive solutions with distributed computing (internship experience does not apply).
• At least 4 years programming with Python, Scala, or Java.
• At least 3 years building, scaling, and optimizing ML systems.
• At least 2 years leading teams developing ML solutions.
