Senior Lead Data Engineer (Enterprise Platforms Technology)

This senior data leadership role focuses on guiding data engineering initiatives within enterprise platforms technology for the Information Technology Senior Management Forum. The position oversees ML-enabled solutions and cloud-based data warehousing activities within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
• Lead a team of developers with deep expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
• Work with Java, Scala, Python and both Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, plus cloud-based data warehousing services such as Redshift and Snowflake
• Share enthusiasm for evolving tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, and mentoring other engineers
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans toward financial empowerment
• Perform unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure rigorous design, clean implementation, and performance tuning

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in application development (internship experience does not apply)
• At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
• At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
