Senior DevOps Software Engineer

Video Centrix is seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to lead AWS cloud infrastructure design, automation, and reliability efforts, with a clear focus on meeting a 99.9% uptime target. The role also extends into software operations for edge devices, including environments, remote management, and OTA/firmware processes, along with software-side benchmarking and testing of edge hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Lead DevOps/SRE reliability efforts aligned to the 99.9% uptime goal, within reasonable solo capacity.
• Manage edge-device software operations, including environments, remote management, and OTA/firmware processes.
• Benchmark and test edge hardware (such as Nvidia Jetson) from the software side.
• Support secure and scalable operations aligned to SOC2 / ISO 27001.

Required Qualifications

• Strong AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience (including Terraform or similar).
• Solid background in CI/CD and DevOps/SRE.
• Comfort taking ownership of reliability solo and implementing practices that enable scaling over time.
• Experience with edge or embedded device software operations (Jetson experience is a plus).
• Security-conscious approach, with SOC2 / ISO 27001 familiarity helpful.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code as a core part of the workflow.
• Note: this is a software/cloud-led role focused on software operations and does not involve physical hardware supply chain activities.

Role Scope and Focus

This is primarily a software and cloud operations role. The position includes owning Video Centrix’s AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps responsibilities, which support the company’s 99.9% uptime objective. In parallel, you will handle the software side of hardware operations, including setting up environments, enabling remote management, and running OTA/firmware workflows. Benchmarking and testing of edge hardware (from the software side) is also included. At launch, the role is solo, with scaling approached sensibly over time.

Location and Compensation

• Location: Las Vegas, NV (onsite)
• Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 per year
• Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
