Job Description

PwC invites applicants for an onsite Senior Data Engineer - Manager role in Las Vegas, NV. The position offers a salary range of USD 99,000 to 232,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual discretionary bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, holiday pay, vacation, and personal and family sick leave.

As described in the role overview, you will lead data engineering initiatives and guide teams to deliver strategic, data-driven insights for clients while managing projects, mentoring staff, and driving client success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data engineering projects to derive strategic insights and optimize business performance, covering ETL and ELT integration.
  • Design and implement innovative data solutions using advanced analytics techniques, leveraging DataStage.
  • Coach and manage teams to elevate skills and deliver high-quality client services, including pipeline architecture.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and cloud-based analytics platforms to enhance data-driven decision making, including AWS and Redshift.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives, using DB2 and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvements, leveraging GoldenGate and CDC.
  • Oversee scalable data visualization and reporting deployments, with attention to performance tuning.
  • Promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams, including S3 and Glue.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary.
  • Uphold professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience.
