Job Description
Uline is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design BI and data warehouse solutions, build data engineering processes, and maintain ETL and analytics platforms for an onsite role in Waukegan, IL with a salary range of USD 96,000 - 148,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to design and implement BI and data warehouse solutions.
- Work with project leads, analysts, and stakeholders to deploy and test data warehouse applications.
- Develop complex data engineering workflows to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Perform unit, performance, and regression testing on ETL mappings.
- Adhere to coding standards, participate in code reviews, and improve quality practices.
- Coordinate production deployments and work with cross-functional teams to execute releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Proven ability to write complex T-SQL and optimize database performance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve data-related issues.
- Knowledge of SSIS, Python, Azure, Snowflake or Databricks is a plus.
- Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.
