Senior Application Developer

Vaco by Highspring seeks a Senior Application Developer in Jersey City, NJ (hybrid) to support and enhance internal business applications within a highly customized environment. This senior role combines hands-on development with design oversight and collaboration with both local and distributed teams, with a salary range of USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications within a configurable platform
• Provide technical leadership, including code reviews and design guidance
• Support and collaborate with distributed development teams
• Handle production issues and ensure system stability
• Contribute to application architecture and long-term improvements
• Participate in full lifecycle delivery from design through support

Requirements

• Strong experience in application development within configurable platforms
• Ability to build and support applications end-to-end
• Experience with system design, architecture, and code quality practices
• Comfortable working with distributed/offshore teams
• Hands-on development experience with leadership capabilities
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant platform certifications are a plus
