Vaco by Highspring seeks a Senior Application Developer in Jersey City, NJ (hybrid) to support and enhance internal business applications within a highly customized environment. This senior role combines hands-on development with design oversight and collaboration with both local and distributed teams, with a salary range of USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Design and develop applications within a configurable platform
Provide technical leadership, including code reviews and design guidance
Support and collaborate with distributed development teams
Handle production issues and ensure system stability
Contribute to application architecture and long-term improvements
Participate in full lifecycle delivery from design through support

Requirements

Strong experience in application development within configurable platforms
Ability to build and support applications end-to-end
Experience with system design, architecture, and code quality practices
Comfortable working with distributed/offshore teams
Hands-on development experience with leadership capabilities
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Relevant platform certifications are a plus
