Job Description
Lambentwit technologies builds Android-based tools for real-time cyber operations and collaborates closely with end users to ensure mission needs are met. This senior role centers on designing, developing, and maintaining Android software within a mission-focused team that mentors junior developers. The position is onsite in Dulles, Virginia and requires a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized Android tools and techniques
- Own the end-to-end design and development of mission-focused software
- Diagnose and debug issues using a mix of COTS and GOTS tools
- Apply solid networking knowledge to software architecture and operation
- Produce documentation to support operation, deployment, and maintenance of the developed software and techniques
- Mentor and lead junior developers to achieve mission objectives
- Address real-time cyber challenges with practical solutions
Requirements
- Development, testing, and debugging in Python and C
- Experience building, testing, and debugging UNIX applications using makefiles or equivalent build systems on mission-relevant platforms
- Experience programming CNO tools and techniques
- Networking: socket programming and deep understanding of IP, TCP, and application-layer protocols
- Ability to trace code execution with debuggers such as WinDbg, gdb, or IDA Pro
- Reverse engineering of native binaries
- Developing proof-of-concept exploit software
- Knowledge of Unix kernel internals including the runtime linker/loader, ELF, file systems such as NTFS, ext2, and btrfs, OS-specific access control mechanisms, and process and thread APIs and data structures
- Understanding protection mechanisms (ASLR, DEP, NX), how to defeat them, and how to detect defeats
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitLab
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science
