Salesforce Developer
Job Description
Flow Control Group, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, refine, code, test, and implement Salesforce processes within the IT team. This onsite role focuses on ongoing improvements and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, ensuring changes align with the organization’s broader objectives and best practices. The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 125,000 per year and reports directly to the IT Salesforce Platform Manager.
Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle Salesforce implementations leveraging SDLC practices, preferably in an Agile environment.
- 3 - 5 years of object-oriented programming experience (Java or C# preferred).
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on Salesforce.com development experience.
- Design and develop on the Force.com platform with hands-on work in Apex classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and UI technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
- Manage application phases of system implementation (configuration, customization, integration, data migration).
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with stakeholders and team members.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and considerations (security, scalability, limits).
- Develop custom user interfaces, including Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Utilize Salesforce APIs to integrate with other organizational systems.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
- Integrate and maintain business applications with Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Conga, Youreka, and Survey Gizmo.
- Work within the IT team and report to the IT Salesforce Platform Manager.
Requirements
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Field Service Management, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud knowledge, with 3 - 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java.
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business stakeholders and other Salesforce team members.
- Ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
