Salesforce Administrator/Developer (Bachelor Degree Preferred)
Job Description
Onsite Salesforce Administrator/Developer role in Cromwell, CT focused on managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform while gathering requirements and ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Configure and tailor Salesforce to meet business needs, implementing workflow rules, process builder processes, validation rules, and custom objects.
- Manage user access controls, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules to safeguard data security and integrity.
- Work with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards to surface insights on key metrics and performance indicators.
- Perform regular system audits and execute data cleansing and ongoing maintenance as needed.
- Keep up to date with Salesforce releases and features, offering optimization and enhancement recommendations.
- Deliver ongoing training and support to end users to maximize Salesforce adoption and usage.
- Diagnose and resolve user reported issues promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of Salesforce Administrator experience with strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization.
- ADM 201 Salesforce Administrator certification is required; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certifications are a plus.
- Proficient in Salesforce Lightning Experience, with familiarity of Salesforce Classic.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Detail oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and knowledge of Apex and Visualforce is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud and using Salesforce in an educational setting is a plus.
- Experience integrating Salesforce data with external vendor systems is a plus.
