Oracle Integration Developer
Job Description
System One is hiring an Oracle Integration Developer (Direct Hire/Perm) for fully remote work from Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Develop and support Oracle APEX applications and PL/SQL code
- Perform complex data analysis and data manipulation to support business intelligence and reporting needs
- Apply expertise in database design, normalization, and ER modeling
- Implement reliable and efficient data integration and automation services
- Troubleshoot production issues across multiple business areas and technologies
- Optimize database and application performance, including PL/SQL tuning and indexing strategies
- Partner with business clients, IT staff, and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation for data structures, queries, reports, and development processes
- Lead quality assurance and testing activities to ensure integration and application reliability and performance
- Ensure integrations and applications follow security best practices and compliance requirements
- Use business process improvement practices and re-engineering methodologies to enhance development and deployment processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required)
- 5+ years experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development
- 5+ years experience with PL/SQL (triggers, procedures, packages, functions)
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle APEX
- Experience with Oracle Financial Applications (significant advantage)
- Familiarity with database administration and architecture
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL
- Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX and associated web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Expertise in database design, normalization, and ER modeling
- Understanding of Oracle security features and best practices
- Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate across all levels of staff
- Excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilities
- Ability to diagnose and resolve routine and advanced system technical issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to influence and impact business results across teams
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Continuous learning mindset to stay current with Oracle technologies and software development practices
