NC3 Sr Advanced Software Engineer

General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc is hiring a Sr Advanced Software Engineer for the NC3 business segment in Taunton, Massachusetts. In this fully on-site role, you will support the design, development, and test efforts for the next generation of Strategic Systems in a cross-functional engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a software engineer for the NC3 business segment as part of a cross-functional team delivering design, development, and test activities for the next generation of Strategic Systems.
• Apply software engineering concepts to solve complex technical problems within an established software development process.
• Provide technical leadership as needed and collaborate effectively with teammates to drive team outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support ongoing professional development for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering (or related STEM field) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years relevant experience.
• Security clearance: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
• Selected applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within facilities.

Salary
