Mid-Level Software Engineer

Mid-Level Software Engineer for a DoD avionics program at CRL Technologies, onsite in Ridgecrest, CA, requiring a Final DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software execution across advanced avionics research and development platforms.
• Collaborate with program management and technical teams to integrate new capabilities, derive requirements, and build integrated program roadmaps.
• Evaluate manufacturers' proposals in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate technical program status and execution across design, engineering, integration, testing, and program activities with manufacturers.
• Create, track, and report on program efforts, including analysis of test data.
• Act as the mid-level Software Engineer handling program technical execution, coordination, and communicating concerns to program management and technical leadership.
• Liaise with government leads, manufacturer leads, engineering leads, subject matter experts, and the program manager involved in planning and execution.
• Provide insights to assess program execution effectiveness and suggest process modifications for program activities.

Requirements

• Final DoD Top Secret security clearance is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited program.
• On-site work only; telework is not available. Must be willing to work on-site in Ridgecrest, CA.
