Job Description

Senior Data Engineer - Senior Manager role at PwC delivering innovative data engineering solutions and analytics to drive client success, while leading and coaching teams in Montpelier, VT (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data driven solutions to boost business performance and strengthen competitive positioning, including roadmap development and solution optimization
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to support client operations and strategic objectives, leveraging AWS data engineering and Redshift
  • Create and maintain data pipelines and architectures to power business intelligence efforts using DataStage and ETL
  • Deploy data visualization tools to deliver actionable insights and improve client outcomes, with SQL Server and DB2
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data challenges and opportunities within managed services and SLAs
  • Coach and motivate teams to tackle complex problems and deliver high quality results
  • Apply systems thinking to diagnose underlying problems and opportunities in client projects, including workload orchestration and scheduling
  • Validate outcomes with clients and incorporate feedback to refine solutions, tracking CSAT and performance improvements
  • Lead teams through ambiguous and challenging situations with composure and sound judgment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
