The Machine Learning Engineer role at Adobe focuses on designing scalable algorithms and building large-scale streaming and data systems to power search, recommendations, and Gen AI across Adobe Cloud. Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, efficient algorithms capable of handling massive data in production environments.
Develop and maintain large-scale streaming and data processing pipelines to enable world-class search, recommendation, and Gen AI capabilities.
Partner with data scientists and AI models to bring them into production, optimize for scale, and ensure reliability.
Work with product management and engineering teams to conceive and deliver new products and features.

Requirements

BS or advanced degree in quantitative fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML Engineering, or a related area.
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python or Java.
Solid understanding of distributed systems, isolation, and microservices.
Good grasp of machine learning, deep learning, or data analytics concepts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; a strong team player.

The compensation reflects labor costs across various U.S. markets and varies by location, knowledge, skills, and experience. The general U.S. pay range for this position is $125,600 to $234,150 annually. In California, the pay range is $161,700 to $234,150.
