Machine Learning Engineer

Machine Learning Engineer on Amazon Infrastructure Engineering's AI/ML team designs and deploys ML solutions to scale infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Address complex technical challenges across all layers of the stack, including novel problems.
• Architect, implement, test, deploy, and maintain ML solutions to enhance service performance, durability, cost efficiency, and security.
• Develop high-impact ML solutions delivered to a large customer base.
• Build robust, highly available, always-on software products.
• Investigate and compare ML approaches to deliver superior user experiences.
• Engage in design and code reviews and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business outcomes with technical input.
• Operate in a fast-paced, startup-like development environment focused on high-priority work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
