ITPA 9-P11 Elections Developer
Job Description
The State of Michigan seeks an ITPA 9-P11 Elections Developer in Lansing, MI (onsite) to support the Michigan Department of State through analysis, design, development and maintenance of mission-critical internal and external web applications using ASP.NET and C#, collaborating with clients, vendors and management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis, system design, development and ongoing maintenance for the Michigan Department of State (MDOS).
- Collaborate within a dynamic team delivering technical effort for mission-critical internal and external web applications.
- Engage directly with clients, vendors, developers and management to ensure quality products in line with DTMB standards.
- Adhere to agency processes, procedures, standards and methodologies (SUITE).
- Maintain and update documentation and specifications for mainframe systems.
- Collaborate with clients to capture business requirements.
- Create specifications and system-related documentation.
- Provide training and mentorship to new developers.
- Leverage ASP.NET and C# development experience to deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 16 semester credits (24 term credits) in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
- Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits (32 term credits) in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
- Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
