IT Systems Developer

The IT Systems Developer role at MVTL delivers software and hardware support to the IT Department, interfaces laboratory instruments with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and maintains web services and internal support programs used by MVTL.

Responsibilities

• Provide software and hardware support for the IT Department.
• Familiarize with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to integrate laboratory instruments with the LIMS.
• Maintain the web services to ensure continuous data delivery.
• Support and maintain various programs developed and used by MVTL.

Requirements

• Formal education: an associate degree in IT or a related 4 year computer science field, or 4+ years of relevant experience, or a 4 year computer science related degree.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL queries.
• Demonstrated experience with web service maintenance.
• Experience setting up and maintaining networks including Active Directory, Windows Servers, VMware, and security software.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
