Job Description
CACI seeks a GIS Software Engineer (AI/ML) to design, develop, and maintain GIS enterprise applications and databases supporting US Special Operations Command. This onsite role integrates AI/ML capabilities into operational planning support within Fayetteville, NC.

Salary Range
- USD 93,500 - 196,500 per yearly
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced AI software engineering techniques to perform complex analysis and to design, develop, and modify GIS Enterprise applications and databases.
- Design and implement user interface (UI) systems.
- Integrate disparate data sources into enterprise GIS workflows.
- Establish application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Construct frameworks that enable AI/ML functions by integrating machine learning models into user applications and platforms.
- Recommend innovative technologies to improve the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and support integrated systems planning.
Required Qualifications
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 8 years of progressive experience performing design, development, and modification of UI and applications.
- Typically, 12 years of progressive related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience engineering UI and applications in support of AI/ML strategies for the DoD/IC.
- Experience creating and developing custom tools and distributed processes for large datasets.
- High level or expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data.
- Proficiency with at least two scripting and programming languages (examples include HTML, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, etc.).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively direct subordinates.
- Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01 (Security+).

Desired Qualifications
