Job Description
VOCAL Technologies Inc. invites applications for an Experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design DSP algorithms and firmware for embedded systems. This full-time, on-site role is based in Buffalo, New York.
Responsibilities
- Design fast and efficient DSP algorithms for implementation on embedded processors.
- Architect and implement firmware across bare metal, RTOS-based, and Linux environments.
- Evaluate algorithm performance by estimating processing resources such as MIPS, ROM, and RAM.
- Coordinate software and hardware development activities with other engineers, including prototyping, algorithm tuning, and performance testing.
- Research new technologies and explore how they can be incorporated into VOCAL Technologies' custom products for improvement.
Requirements

- Minimum seven years of experience required.
