Experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer (+7 Years Experience Req)

VOCAL Technologies Inc. invites applications for an Experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design DSP algorithms and firmware for embedded systems. This full-time, on-site role is based in Buffalo, New York.

Responsibilities

• Design fast and efficient DSP algorithms for implementation on embedded processors.
• Architect and implement firmware across bare metal, RTOS-based, and Linux environments.
• Evaluate algorithm performance by estimating processing resources such as MIPS, ROM, and RAM.
• Coordinate software and hardware development activities with other engineers, including prototyping, algorithm tuning, and performance testing.
• Research new technologies and explore how they can be incorporated into VOCAL Technologies' custom products for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of experience required.
