Compensation

Annual salary range: USD 90,000 - 130,000.

Responsibilities

• Design fast and efficient DSP algorithms for implementation on embedded processors
• Architect and implement firmware across bare metal, RTOS-based, and Linux environments
• Assess algorithm performance by estimating processing resources such as MIPS, ROM, and RAM
• Coordinate software and hardware development activities with other engineers, including prototyping, tuning, and performance testing
• Research and evaluate new technologies for potential integration into VOCAL’s custom products

Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded software experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• Embedded software with C programming: 10 years (Required)
• Ability to commute to Buffalo, NY 14228 (Required)
• Relocation to Buffalo, NY 14228 before starting work (Preferred)
