DevOps Software Engineer III with TS/SCI Polygraph

The DevOps Software Engineer III with TS/SCI Polygraph supports secure software delivery within Deloitte's Government & Public Services division. This on site role is based in Baltimore, MD, with a yearly salary range of USD 119,000 to 198,400.

Responsibilities

• Architect and sustain continuous integration and delivery pipelines that incorporate automated testing and security assessments.
• Implement and uphold application hardening standards across scripts, automations, and AI-enabled web applications.
• Guide security reviews for new development work and produce Authorization to Operate ready artifacts, including system security plan sections, control evidence, and Plan of Actions and Milestones inputs.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development and testing tools into team workflows and enforce secure coding practices across Python, HTML/CSS, .NET, and PowerShell.
• Maintain and support development and production environments, monitor security events, and drive remediation efforts to closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of experience in application development, test-driven development, SDLC activities, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• 4+ years of experience in Python
• 4+ years of experience in security operations
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Ability to travel 10-25% on average, depending on client engagements
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
