DevOps Software Engineer III with TS/SCI Polygraph
Job Description
The DevOps Software Engineer III with TS/SCI Polygraph supports secure software delivery within Deloitte's Government & Public Services division. This on site role is based in Baltimore, MD, with a yearly salary range of USD 119,000 to 198,400.
Responsibilities
- Architect and sustain continuous integration and delivery pipelines that incorporate automated testing and security assessments.
- Implement and uphold application hardening standards across scripts, automations, and AI-enabled web applications.
- Guide security reviews for new development work and produce Authorization to Operate ready artifacts, including system security plan sections, control evidence, and Plan of Actions and Milestones inputs.
- Incorporate AI-assisted development and testing tools into team workflows and enforce secure coding practices across Python, HTML/CSS, .NET, and PowerShell.
- Maintain and support development and production environments, monitor security events, and drive remediation efforts to closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in application development, test-driven development, SDLC activities, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- 4+ years of experience in Python
- 4+ years of experience in security operations
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Ability to travel 10-25% on average, depending on client engagements
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
