This onsite Data Engineer role supports mission-focused education and research operations by modernizing legacy data workflows and enabling reliable reporting and analytical solutions. The position is offered with a salary range of USD 127,000 - 138,000 per year.
What you will do
- Design, architect, and maintain the Office of Medical Education’s enterprise data infrastructure
- Lead the migration of legacy processes to a scalable cloud-based lake house
- Develop ETL pipelines that support diverse data sources
- Drive the delivery of reporting and analytical solutions for stakeholders
- Oversee compliance with research protocols as part of the data and reporting work
Key skills and requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience working with cloud-based lake house environments and ETL pipelines for data movement and processing
How the role fits
This position organizationally reports to the Office of CIO, and functionally reports to SOM (School of Medicine) at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD.
