On the AWS Kumo team, this Data Engineer role centers on shaping data architecture, quality, and availability to empower advanced analytics and improve AWS Support outcomes. You will work closely with data scientists, BI engineers, and business partners to turn rich data into actionable insights and scalable capabilities.

Salary: USD 132,100 - 178,800 per year

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the data architecture, elevate data quality, and ensure reliable data availability through ongoing monitoring.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy advanced analytics leveraging our data assets for statistical analysis, predictive modeling, clustering, and machine learning.
• Partner with business analysts across teams to formulate and test hypotheses aimed at improving the AWS Support business.
• Improve reporting and analysis workflows to enable self-service insights for customers.
• Keep abreast of new big data technologies and run pilots to design scalable data architectures that grow with expanding customer experience data on AWS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
