Green Courte Residential Holdings LLC offers a collaborative, data driven environment in Clearwater, Florida. This onsite Data Engineer I role provides a competitive annual salary of USD 90,000 to 115,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to influence data strategy across Green Courte and its managed companies.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, implementing, and managing efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines and monitoring systems
  • Developing deep intuition for Green Courte and its platform investments’ data to rapidly create new data assets or augment existing assets to give business insight into key operational areas
  • Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies through automation and/or integration
  • Insisting on the highest data integrity and establishing scalable quality checks and controls
  • Maintaining crisp data documentation to enable data accessibility to users of all technical competencies and monitoring user engagement to maximize impact
  • Managing Green Courte’s data catalog and ensuring robust data discoverability for all end users
  • Providing ad hoc analytical support and analyses to support strategic decision-making
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related STEM field
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience using Python for API services using Flask/FastAPI, Pandas/Polars, and Pydantic-based data validation
  • Experience using Airflow to orchestrate complex data pipelines
  • Experience developing event-driven data pipelines using tools like RabbitMQ/SQS
  • Experience sourcing data from third-party APIs and building production-ready data models using tools like dbt or SQLMesh
  • Experience working with modern cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, etc.
  • Experience using git for version control and experience using GitHub to manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and operational troubleshooting
  • Experience with observability and structured logging, leveraging tools like Grafana
  • Full stack mindset; willingness to develop where necessary to ship data products
  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate highly technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Curious spirit and continuous learner; ability to distinguish between fads and trends in data technology
  • Collaborative nature and a good team player
