Overview This Data Engineer role in AWS Sustainability Technology centers on designing data models, building ETL pipelines, and developing predictive analytics to support energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water portfolios. The position enables informed decision making and supports decarbonization efforts.
Location and compensation
Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
Salary: USD 132,100 - 178,800 per yearly
Minimum experience: 3 years
Responsibilities
- Designs and maintains expansive data models for clients across energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water to support portfolio assessment
- Collaborates with data scientists to develop predictive models that enhance decision making
Requirements
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- At least 1 year building and operating large-scale BI data structures with ETL/ELT pipelines
- At least 1 year working with OLAP technologies for BI data structures
- At least 1 year experience in data modeling for BI data structures
- At least 1 year SQL experience in BI data structures
- At least 1 year Oracle experience in BI data structures
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
