Data Engineer

Matrix Systems and Technology (MSTi) is seeking a Data Engineer to design and operate data ingestion and transformation pipelines, with integrations spanning cloud, relational, and NoSQL environments. This role supports end-to-end data processing, reliability, and documentation for systems used across client engagements.

Role Overview

The Data Engineer position requires approximately four to eight years of relevant experience. The focus is on developing and maintaining ingestion and transformation workflows, building ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensuring accurate and complete data movement across multiple source and target systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Build and support ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue and Informatica.
• Integrate data from MongoDB, Amazon Aurora/RDS, Oracle, and other sources.
• Develop SQL queries and support source-to-target data mapping.
• Validate data accuracy and completeness, and investigate processing failures.
• Monitor pipeline reliability and performance, and document operating procedures.

Requirements

• Approximately four to eight years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS Glue and Informatica.
• Experience working with MongoDB, Amazon Aurora/RDS, and Oracle.
• Strong SQL, data mapping, and integration skills.
• Experience building and troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with application developers, analysts, and testing teams.

Location and Compensation

Salary: USD 70,000 - 95,000 per yearly
