Job Description

Surety Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to support ongoing client projects following a move to Snowflake. This position joins a larger data engineering team, with a primary focus on producing accurate, high-complexity SQL work and contributing to ETL efforts.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing projects as part of a larger data engineering team after the client transitions to Snowflake
  • Work across multiple client initiatives as assigned
  • Create complex SQL queries quickly and accurately

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
  • 5+ years of Data Engineer experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience, including Standard SQL and Oracle SQL
  • 4+ years of ETL tooling experience, including Talend, Informatica, and/or dbt
  • Ability to pass a formal Background & Credit Check
  • Richmond, VA 23219 (Required)

Location and Work Schedule

Project Duration and Compensation

The engagement is expected to last at least one year, with a strong likelihood of additional extension(s).

Pay: USD 45.00 - 60.00 per hour.
