Job Description
Surety Systems, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to support ongoing client projects following a move to Snowflake. This position joins a larger data engineering team, with a primary focus on producing accurate, high-complexity SQL work and contributing to ETL efforts.
Role Responsibilities
- Support ongoing projects as part of a larger data engineering team after the client transitions to Snowflake
- Work across multiple client initiatives as assigned
- Create complex SQL queries quickly and accurately
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- 5+ years of Data Engineer experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience, including Standard SQL and Oracle SQL
- 4+ years of ETL tooling experience, including Talend, Informatica, and/or dbt
- Ability to pass a formal Background & Credit Check
- Richmond, VA 23219 (Required)

Location and Work Schedule
Hybrid remote in Richmond, VA 23219. The project requires time in the office every other week, Tuesday through Friday.

Project Duration and Compensation
The engagement is expected to last at least one year, with a strong likelihood of additional extension(s).
Pay: USD 45.00 - 60.00 per hour.
