Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and deployment of data engineering solutions for mission-focused initiatives.
  • Build and maintain pipelines and platforms that integrate disparate data sources and render them meaningful for stakeholders.
  • Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Apply analytical exploration to guide the assessment, design, construction, and upkeep of scalable data platforms for clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with major data science languages such as Python and R.
  • 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from APIs and databases using Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of data engineering experience, or 12+ years of data engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600 to $176,000 per year (USD). Salary is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Clearance

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Work model

  • Onsite: Primary work location at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with in-person collaboration as needed.
