Job Description
State Farm is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines, integrations, and reusable data products that underpin business continuity, resiliency, and the evolving enterprise data ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- The role focuses on building and evolving data solutions that support enterprise wide recovery readiness and resiliency across the organization.
- Collaborating with software engineers, recovery coordinators, and business partners, the engineer will design and deploy scalable data pipelines and integrations and create reusable data products that enhance visibility, support informed decision making, and strengthen the enterprise data ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise data solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity across modern database and platform technologies.
- Experience with data modeling, data quality, data governance, and secure data practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and understand dependencies across applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Strong collaboration skills for effective work with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, reusable outcomes.
