Business Analyst, Developer Experience

In this Business Analyst role, you will partner with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and experience using analytics, delivery performance metrics, and workflow insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering and developer workflows to spot bottlenecks and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including engineers, managers, and product owners.
• Implement and maintain software delivery performance metrics using tools such as LinearB, Sleuth, or custom dashboards.
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of internal developer platforms and developer tools.
• Help define and refine processes in a relatively new focus area to improve developer experience and developer productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role or environment.
• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) such as Backstage.
• Experience using engineering analytics platforms including LinearB, Jellyfish, and Haystack.
• Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems, including IDEs, Git workflows, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across teams.
