Android and/or iOS Mobile Developer
Job Description
Adidev Technologies Inc is seeking an entry to mid-level mobile developer with experience in both iOS and Android. This contract role is based in Champaign, IL and may require relocation depending on client assignment, with a focus on enhancing and debugging large-scale applications for a well-known client.
Role Overview
You will contribute to the improvement and troubleshooting of production-grade mobile applications across iOS and Android. The work includes collaborative development in a team environment, along with self-management of tasks and time.

Compensation
- Rate: USD 30 - 40 per hourly

Requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication, plus the ability to work well in a team environment.
- At least 1 years of experience with Java and Kotlin.
- At least 1 application published to the Play Store, demonstrating familiarity with the publication process.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling different screen sizes.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries for common tasks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Comfortable with Git and source control.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to manage yourself and your time.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
- Proficient with Swift and Objective-C (knowledge and hands-on), and Cocoa Touch.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
- Experience with design patterns such as MVC and Singleton.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Familiarity with third-party API integrations including Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, GoogleDrive, Bluetooth, Keychain, etc.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
