AI-Powered Back End Developer

Deloitte Cyber is looking for an AI-Powered Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain backend components and secure APIs that support Cyber AI solutions. The role is based in Rosslyn, VA and works onsite to help deliver secure integrations across cloud and security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core portfolio components that support Deloitte Cyber AI solutions.
• Create and support secure, scalable REST and GraphQL APIs for integration across platforms.
• Develop clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Integrate software components with cloud infrastructure and security tooling to enable reliable, secure deployments.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the Central Cyber Control and Active Cyber Defense frameworks.
• Collaborate with cloud administrators, automation experts, and security engineers to design, deliver, and maintain advanced solutions.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and apply best practices to improve innovation and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance.
• Local to the DMV area and willing to work onsite up to five days per week.
• Ability to travel 25% on average based on work and client/industry needs.
• 3+ years of back-end development including back-end development with Node.js and Python (including Django and Flask), plus containerized microservices deployed on Google Cloud Run.
• 2+ years of AI Architecture experience with modular integration of generative AI models (OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Hugging Face).
• 2+ years of AI Architecture experience with AI/ML concepts and frameworks, notably TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• 3+ years of cloud experience, including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience with Python.

Location, Work Schedule, and Salary Estimate

Location: Rosslyn, VA (onsite). Work location requirement: onsite up to five days per week. Compensation: USD 113,300 - 207,800 per year (reasonable estimate for individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia).
