AI Machine Learning Engineer

Join Lockheed Martin’s RMS AI team in Manassas, VA, for a hybrid role focused on building and integrating MLOps workflows for tactical systems. You will curate datasets, train and validate AI/ML models, and support field deployment, with up to 25 percent travel to customer sites. Responsibilities

• Develop and debug an MLOps workflow integrated into a tactical system, in both lab and customer-site environments.
• Curate datasets, perform labeling, and train AI/ML models.
• Validate and analyze AI/ML algorithm results, iterating to improve performance.
• Generate datasets to support system testing and algorithm development.
• Travel to tactical sites to exercise the ML lifecycle, up to 25 percent of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related STEM field.
• Experience in software development, integration, and test.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Active security clearance and willingness to work onsite with the team in Manassas, VA in the advanced development lab.
