Responsibilities
- Support the development and rollout of annual fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Build and sustain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Research and identify funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships.
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events and donor appreciation activities.
- Oversee donor acknowledgements and stewardship activities.
- Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising activity reporting.
- Oversee social media and community engagement initiatives.
- Represent the organization at outreach and networking events in the community.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and fundraising updates for leadership.
- Support long-term donor development and cultivation of community partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business administration, public relations, or related field.
- 1–3 years of professional or volunteer experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, communications, marketing, or community engagement preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Experience using Canva, social media platforms, and donor databases preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Position Summary
The Fund Developer is a key member of the leadership support team, advancing fundraising, donor engagement, and community outreach to support the center’s mission and long-term sustainability. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role develops and implements strategic fundraising initiatives that back the center’s programs and operations, manages donor cultivation and stewardship, coordinates campaigns and events, assists with grant research, builds community partnerships, and supports donor communications and recognition. The position also oversees social media and community engagement strategies to increase visibility and strengthen community relationships.
