Job Description

Crossfire Consulting Corporation is seeking a Senior Conversational AI Developer for a contract opportunity in New York, NY (hybrid). The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise conversational AI agents and workflow automations across Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, with integration into ServiceNow. If you enjoy building production-ready conversational experiences, creating reliable delivery pipelines, and working inside an enterprise Agile framework, this engagement is built for that kind of work.

Responsibilities

Design, build, train, and test conversational flows, including intents, custom route groups, and LLM-powered tools on Google Cloud Platform using GECX / Dialogflow CX, including implementation of state handlers, webhook fulfillment, and condition rules.
Develop robust RESTful APIs, webhooks, and microservices using .NET, Python, or Node.js to integrate conversational agents with ServiceNow and Azure enterprise systems.
Build, maintain, and improve automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for environment provisioning, validation, and continuous deployment of agent configurations and fulfillment services.
Implement automated test coverage spanning unit logic, webhook APIs, dialog flow regressions, and end-to-end conversational journeys.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for conversational analytics, reporting, and supporting backend data operations.
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint execution, backlog refinement, and cross-team dependency mapping with ART coordination.

Requirements

Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale virtual agents on Google Cloud Platform using GECX / Dialogflow CX, including state handlers, route groups, webhook fulfillment, condition rules, and generative agent capabilities.
Extensive hands-on background building backend services, API fulfillment webhooks, and asynchronous workflows using .NET (C#), with additional experience in Python and TypeScript / JavaScript.
Strong automated testing experience for conversational systems and APIs, including unit testing, mock services, integration testing, and regression suites for dialog flows using modern frameworks such as NUnit/xUnit, PyTest, Jest, and Postman/Newman.
Demonstrated ability to design and configure production-ready CI/CD in Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, release gates, automated linting, test execution, and deployment artifacts.
Experience integrating distributed cloud services across multi-cloud environments, including connecting conversational agents with ServiceNow APIs (Incident, Change, Service Catalog, Flow Designer) and Azure services.
Strong SQL skills, including query design, relational database modeling, and data manipulation to support dynamic agent lookups, reporting, and transactional verification.
Working knowledge of SAFe in an enterprise setting, including PI planning, sprint iterations, user story sizing, and coordinating cross-functional ART dependencies.
Fluency with developer toolchains and Git-based version control, with practical coding, debugging, and local emulation using environments such as VS Code and Antigravity.
Ability to architect fault-tolerant conversational interactions, including context and session variable management, prompt engineering, intent classification, and human escalation or fallback workflows.
Practical security knowledge for multi-cloud integrations, including OAuth2, API key management, RBAC, and secrets handling across GCP, Azure, and ServiceNow.
