Everforth is looking for a Senior ICE Encompass API Engineer & Solutions Architect to steer the next generation of mortgage technology. The role centers on ICE Encompass API, Developer Connect, EPC, API architecture, and AI-driven modernization, blending hands-on engineering with enterprise-grade design and strategy. This full-time position is remote-friendly with a Las Vegas, NV base and periodic travel for conferences and client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house authority on ICE Encompass API development, Developer Connect, EPC, and related ICE technologies.
- Collaborate directly with ICE to identify, evaluate, and qualify upcoming platform changes and enhancements.
- Represent the organization within the ICE Partner Advisory Group, sharing insights and advocating for strategic needs.
- Review, test, and validate new Developer Connect constructs, APIs, and capabilities.
- Present findings and best practices to engineering teams to ensure proper adoption and usage.
- Train developers on ICE API best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
- Conduct code reviews and guide teams through the ICE code review and approval process.
- Design and develop advanced solutions using the Microsoft technology stack: C#, MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure DevOps.
- Lead R&D initiatives to explore new capabilities within ICE EPC and Developer Connect.
- Partner with the Chief Architect to define custom ICE-related solutions and produce technical design documentation (Visio).
- Participate in high-level technical pre-sales conversations, solutioning sessions, and strategic planning with clients.
- Travel as needed to conferences and client meetings to represent technical expertise and product vision.
- Operate within SOC2-compliant processes and our secure cloud data center environment.
- Ensure all solutions meet stringent security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Apply an AI-centric mindset to solution design and modernization efforts.
- Recommend and prototype AI integrations that enhance our product suite and custom development initiatives.
- Play a key role in the long-term strategy to migrate and refine all ICE Developer Connect solutions, with emphasis on Encompass Web.
Requirements
