Compensation and Benefits
Base pay reflects a nationwide market range for this role; final compensation depends on the scope, complexity, and location of the position, as well as the candidate's skills, education, credentials, and experience. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation program.
Salary Range: $126,500.00 - $208,700.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Our Data Engineering team builds pipelines that contextualize data and make it readily accessible across the enterprise. As a Data Engineer II, you will contribute to expanding and modernizing our analytics landscape. You will translate insights from data using diverse programming techniques to design, build, and deploy data solutions that support Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and business intelligence initiatives.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and operationalize complex data solutions, address issues, apply transformations, and propose data cleansing and quality improvements.
- Design sophisticated data architectures and solutions.
- Analyze diverse data sources to determine value, usage, and data to include in analytical processes.
- Incorporate core data management practices including governance, security, and data quality.
- Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products and analytics environments.
- Analyze data and system defects and incidents, assess root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Test data movement, transformation logic, and data components.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or equivalent
- Eight years of related experience
- Databricks experience, including integration with DBT and Unity Catalog
- Databricks Genie
- Ab Initio
- Snowflake
- AI (Claude Code)
- Teradata
- API development and integration into data pipelines
- Highly proficient with cloud platforms, programming languages, and modern software engineering practices
- Ability to deliver work at a steady, predictable pace, releasing in small batches while weighing important tradeoffs
- Demonstrated domain expertise with deep knowledge of immediate systems and related areas
- Strong problem solving skills and a focus on building durable, innovative solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and business partners
- Ability to lead team members and foster a safe environment for learning and growth, with a track record of self motivation to identify opportunities and track team efforts
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience, plus four additional years of data engineering experience.
