As a Project Lead Software Engineer II on Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team, you will develop, test, maintain, and support application integrations and related components that enable sustainment operations. The role focuses on implementing enhancements and defect fixes, coordinating solution validation, and providing development support to keep mission services stable.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement approved enhancements and defect fixes, and support the full delivery workflow including code review, unit and integration testing, release preparation, and incident troubleshooting.
- Document technical designs, changes, and support procedures to support operational continuity.
- Collaborate with the Custom Development Lead, Product Management, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity teams to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and validate solutions against acceptance criteria.
- Identify application performance, security, reliability, and deployment risks promptly and help drive mitigation through the development lifecycle.
- Provide dependable development support that maintains stable mission services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- 6+ years of experience with PHP.
- 4+ years of experience with Linux-Red Hat, Apache Tomcat, and MySQL.
