Staff Machine Learning Engineer - VoIP Infrastructure

Galliot is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to build intelligent capabilities for voice communication infrastructure. This role brings together machine learning and telecommunications engineering to enhance call quality, improve reliability, and enable automated voice processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning solutions for VoIP-based systems.
• Develop models focused on voice analytics and communication optimization.
• Work on improving call quality, latency, and overall system performance.
• Partner with infrastructure and software engineering teams to integrate ML capabilities.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production machine learning systems.
• Evaluate model performance and propose technical improvements based on results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience across machine learning and software engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills and data analysis ability.
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, or telecommunications systems.
• Experience deploying scalable production services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation and Pay

Salary range: USD 160,000 to 220,000 per year.
