Senior Software Engineer, Data

Build data-driven products end to end with FloQast in a fast-paced, user-focused environment. This hybrid role is based in San Jose, CA and offers a base pay range of $144,000 - $216,000, with compensation not limited to base salary. You will collaborate across engineering, sales, and customers while taking full ownership across the full SDLC for vertically sliced features.

What you’ll do

• Develop high-quality, user-focused experiences from the ground up using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB
• Use Amazon Web Services (AWS) including S3, Lambda, and Step Functions to ship features quickly and efficiently
• Contribute to the company’s technical vision by participating in, or leading, discussions and implementations across multiple complex projects
• Continuously incorporate customer product feedback, data, and growth needs to keep work aligned with what matters most in an agile environment
• Improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to help the team do more with less
• Own (or pair on) vertically sliced features through code review, deployments, and production support for applications and external APIs

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years of professional full stack experience at one or more referenceable companies building web applications, designing RESTful APIs, or performing data modeling
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, NodeJS, and/or MongoDB, including the ability to think and develop within established patterns and practices
• Strong experience working with tools like Snowflake
• A track record of shipping high-quality products and features for customers while developing projects at scale
• Ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions quickly
• Motivation to take products to market, solve customer problems, and grow your craft alongside business growth
